Es mag so aussehen, dass Unsportlichkeit nun erlaubt sei, aber dem ist wohl doch nicht so.
Magnus Wheatley hat sein Rule 69 Blog vorerst geschlossen. Seine kompromisslose Berichterstattung war sehr erfrischend und der letzte Post verrät, was einen in dieser unserer Segelwelt dazu treiben kann, das Handtuch zu werfen:
"I've taken some time to think about it but this is the last post on this blog and the site will be taken down on Monday 17th March. I just feel that we've taken it as far as we can and that on the Internet you have to stay relevant and on the ball before you sound hackneyed and worn out. I'll probably be back but for now, that's it. The sailing scene is pretty dull right now and at the top end which I enjoy, it's just a ridiculous farce on the verge of irreparable damage. Shame, but that's the way it goes...if it re-ignites spectacularly then I might come back..."
